FAQs
Will I get wet?
Although not likely, there is still a chance you will get wet. We work with high quality, thick boards that are meant for yoga and water activities, but there is still a chance you could get wet. Always be prepared.
Do I need my own paddle board?
No! We provide a paddle, board, leash, life jacket, and a dry bag for each student. Your instructor will also have a first aid kit on hand. If you would like to bring your own board, you can--just let us know ahead of time as we only bring enough boards to accommodate those who have signed up.
Will you cancel if it rains?
We will not cancel if it rains. However, we will cancel if it's heavy rain, is thundering or lightening, or the wind speeds are above 8mph. Your safety is our top priority.
What if I've never taken yoga or paddle boarding classes, can I still sign up?
Yes!! We are beginner friendly. We will walk you through everything you need to know. Our instructors are patient and teach to every ability. If you are nervous about taking a trip as a beginner, we do offer 1 on 1 sessions and beginner paddle boarding classes to help ease any nerves and strengthen your knowledge.
Do you have a weight limit?
We have 6 paddle boards with a 285lb capacity, and one with a 350 lb capacity.
What should I wear?
We go by the ABC rule: anything but cotton. We recommend moisture wicking or water proof clothing that will dry quickly if you get wet. A potential outfit would be a short/long sleeve spf water shirt, athletic bottoms or swim shorts/trunks, and possibly a bathing suit underneath. Bring a hat and sunglasses as well as sunscreen and a water.
Is there an age limit?
13 and older you can be on your own board, 12 and younger will need to be on a board with a parent/guardian and are required to wear a life jacket the entire trip.
What is your cancellation policy?
All sales are final and we do not offer refunds unless a class is cancelled/rescheduled due to weather. We like to let our customers know our why: we are charged a fee with every purchase or refund. As a small business, every penny counts. To limit costs, we do not offer refunds on purchases.
